Chris D'Elia

Chris D'Elia at Burton Cummings Theatre

Why see Chris D'Elia?

Everybody Loves Chris

Chris D'Elia is known for leading the stand-up heavy cast of NBC's Undateable, starring as Danny, a guy with some pretty serious commitment issues. He also played opposite Whitney Cummings in her short lived self-titled sitcom, but stand-up comedy remains his first love, saying "Once I started doing stand-up, everything fell into place."

The Los-Angeles born performer began his comedy in 2006, when after attempts at acting and screen writing, he decided that telling jokes was the thing for him. And so it proved, with his observational riffs on life's little issues and committed slapstick silliness seeing him become an increasingly popular performer on Comedy Central. The channel gave him his own hour special in 2013 - White Male, Black Comic.

Fantastic in many ways

I'm just gonna put this right here cause why the fuck not .. took my gal to see u for her bday in Augusta. She loves u and u were on her young bucket list ... Outside of that... Dude u and Denny rocked the house!! Not to get to deep tho outside of crying from laughing so hard I never fathomed that I would take sumthing as I did from a comedy show as I did with urs. Ur speak on deep trauma and how you talk to your kids etc really made me think about how I am as a father. I know I rock as a dad but u opened up a lot things for me during the time speaking on potty training and how kids perceive how you speak to them. I'm 38 and my kids are 3 and 10 months so almost same same. I left with a different outlook on how I talk to them and how I express frustration towards them. To be honest it really got me thinking during the show and afterwards and I thank u for that. You spoke of therapy and whatnot and ur show was kind of an eye opener for me in many ways on certain topics u spoke on and it was after the fact more appreciated than just laughter at a comedy show.... So I thank you. U may not ever see this comment but just know u rock man... N due to some of the things you talked about I'm gonna grow more as a father to my children due to your words on family ...
