Who is Vance Joy?

Born James Gabriel Keogh, Vance Joy adopted his stage name as a nod to the novel "Bliss" by Peter Carey. His music draws inspiration from artists like Paul Simon and James Taylor.  Joy made himself known with his number one single 'Riptide'. Since then he's gone on to tour with P!nk and Taylor Swift and boasts over five billion streams on TiKTok. His most recent nod was for 2021's single 'Missing Piece' which won Best Video at the ARIA Awards and reached platinum status in Australia.
